Braw Wee Craft Club moved to our new studio space in November 2024, and it has provided the business with the opportunity to increase our capacity and variety of workshops we deliver. So now is the time to turn this one-women business into a team of talent creative folk who have a passion for crafts and teaching. I'm looking to fill the following roles.
Freelance Studio Assistant – Braw Wee Craft Club
Location: Braw Wee Craft Club Studio, Central Chambers, Glasgow
Hours: Minimum 8 hours per week (including weekends), with potential for more
Pay: £12.60 per hour (Freelance – responsible for own tax & NI)
Braw Wee Craft Club is looking for a friendly, organised, and creative Freelance Studio Assistant to help keep our busy craft studio running smoothly! This role is perfect for someone who loves crafting, enjoys working with people, and has an eye for organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workshop Support – Assisting with setting up and tidying up before and after workshops.
- Hospitality – Welcoming participants, serving refreshments, and creating a friendly atmosphere.
- Hands-On Assistance – Supporting crafters during workshops.
- Studio Organisation – Helping to maintain a tidy and well-stocked workspace.
- Admin & Marketing – Handling enquiries, listing workshops online, creating social media content, and promoting our events.
What We’re Looking For:

A friendly and approachable person with great people skills.

Organised, reliable, and happy to get stuck in.

A creative thinker with a love for crafts (experience in any craft area is a bonus but not essential!).

Comfortable with social media and basic admin tasks.

Available to work weekends and flexible to pick up extra hours when needed.
Important Details:
Freelance Role – You will be responsible for your own tax and National Insurance.
Probationary Period – Initial three-month probation to ensure a good fit.
Potential Growth – Opportunity to take on more hours and develop into a workshop tutor role for the right person.

Call for Workshop Tutors – Braw Wee Craft Club
Location: Braw Wee Craft Club Studio, Central Chambers, Glasgow

Braw Wee Craft Club is on the lookout for talented and enthusiastic Workshop Tutors to join our creative team! We’re looking for experienced crafters who can confidently teach engaging, hands-on workshops in any of the following areas:
- Jesmonite Crafting
- Lampshade Making
- Soap & Candle Making
- Other Exciting Crafts – Got a unique skill? We’d love to hear about it!
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in your craft and confidence in teaching it to others.
- A friendly, engaging, and supportive teaching style.
- Ability to plan and deliver structured, fun workshops.
- Reliable, organised, and happy to prep materials in advance.
- Experience working with groups.
