Introduction to Jesmonite Casting at Braw Wee's Glasgow City Centre Studio. We will take you through each step so you can make your unique Jesmonite products.
In this day-long workshop, you will learn how to mix your Jesmonite, mix pigments, and terrazzo techniques, adding other effects and paints to your finished items and turning them into gorgeous products! You'll have the opportunity to make a variety of products with our moulds which could include:
- A set of coasters & coaster holder.
- Trinket Tray.
- Tea-light Holder - three and single versions.
- Hexagonal Tea Light Holders/ Mini Plant Pots
- Bum Pot
- Plant Pots
- Jewellery
Jesmonite AC100 is made of water-based eco-resin and is widely used to make decorative moulded objects. They are safe to use and contain no harmful chemicals.
It’s easy to see why everyone who uses Jesmonite AC100 falls in love with it. From casting your own eco-conscious homewares to experimenting with techniques such as marbling and terrazzo, this water-based, two-part system is full of endless possibilities.
We will be using acrylic resin, which is a non-toxic water-based resin, and completely safe to work with. You'll each be given 5KG of Jesmonite to work with over the course of the day, access to various pigments,

- The workshop lasts approx. 10am - 4pm.
- Various colours and materials available for customisation.
- You'll have a minimum 6KG of Jesmonite Powder to work with.
- Please bring your own lunch - microwave available.
- Refreshments provided but feel free to BYOB or soft drinks.
- Suitable for age 16 years and above.

- Workshop takes place at our studio at 249 West George Street, Glasgow, G2 4QE. Please note there are six steps down to reach our lifts that take you to our studio. We are working on bringing our workshops to more accessible venues.
