January in Glasgow is all about Celtic Connections here at Braw Wee Craft Club - Jennifer has worked at the festival for over 20 years, and we look onto the original venue for the infamous Festival Club - where that been plenty of dancing, sequins and amazing music over the years. 

So get your shoes gig ready and coming along to Pure Dead Shiny - Festival Shoe Edition

This workshop will be hosted and taught by Jennifer McGlone - owner of Braw Wee! Who has become obsessed with shining up anything she can get her hands on! 

This is your chance to roll up your sleeves, have a laugh, and learn how to transform your tired leather shoes or boots into glittering, gleaming works of wearable art.

Whether you’re a total craft newbie or a seasoned maker, you’ll leave with shiny shoes, insider tips, and a big grin. We’ll provide all the foils, tools, and materials – you just bring the shoes (or ankle boots) and your creative flair!

Please note:
Your shoes should be leather or faux leather (non-porous materials work best). Unfortunately, canvas and suede won’t work for this technique. Patent shoes are absolutely fine!
